I turned 55 yesterday, fellas (please, save your boos this time). I celebrated it on stage at Altstadtfest in Germany, as well as a lovely breakfast before and an incredible dinner after with my gal Mal and my great friends in the band. Alicja roasted me pretty good for my "gift", that's what I get for telling her she never says a cross word about anyone. Maybe we recorded it, I'm not sure yet, I had a bit too much scotch...

But point being, I spent my birthday in good spirits with loved ones and well wishers, something our dear piggyphile never experiences, in my opinion. And it made me wonder when he's ever had a real birthday with genuine people around him.

I hold the only time he's had people over is when his mother paid the parents, like a form of punishment to his peers.

I'm too old for those kinds of things. I get surprised every once in a while - like my prized JR Ewing statue I received once - but I would rather have a nice homemade meal, something crafted I could use, or a thoughtful word. Alicja going out of her way to give me a little roast was completely unexpected, and without offending the rest of my friends, it was the best present I could've received as a 55 year old man.

Unlike Pat, I prefer love filling my heart over plastic objects filling my home.

I live in Poznan, but I'm Scottish.

I'm pretty positive we have not, but the band and I have played many festivals in Germany, and some were beerfests.

Earlier today was Raismes Fest in France, which is a hard rock festival - and I'm not very hard rock! If I'm performing Stiltskin, that's a little different story, but when it's Ray Wilson and Band, it's typically my solo work mixed with Genesis. It went off well today, though.
