Not trying to be wise-asses, you're right as far as technological and societal advance goes in the last 1000 years but the truth is every civilization has contributed in some way to at least one of the things you mentioned, it's just that the West did 90% of it and the other 10% you just have to read shit online or in books to ever know about.

The middle east had a big leg up on astronomy and math early in the dawn of civilization, but then Islam came around and ass fucked everyone living under it. Islam is one of the worst things to happen to the world. Their only redeeming quality is their affinity for blowing jews to pieces with improvised explosives, but they even kinda suck at that.

@Mass.gov why did your family (you had nothing to do with it) decide to live in a Western, Christian-based country? You're tacitly implying one of two things:
1) Islam is feckless and has no power to improve shitholes
2) Islam ruins countries, which drives many of them to desert them
The other option is that many Muslims come from generations of inbreeding and this turned them into full blown camel niggers (I've been witnessing the evidence of this), but I don't think you'd admit to that.
