Aside from his deadly allergy to humility, that's one thing I don't get about Pat (or a lot of people, I guess) - placing such obvious importance on "fame". Fame used to be the price you'd have to pay to be well-compensated for doing something that you like, but for public consumption. No well-adjusted person wants to be famous (even most dead-behind-the-eyes-empty-vessel actors, etc), but plenty of people think the cost is worth the other benefits.

Dan attempted multiple times to be the ring leader. It never panned out. While I liked some of Dans schtick, dudes not a natural leader. He’s a court jester. Personally my fav was “Melissa Schneider on Twitter” whatever happened to them. We had a great thread about Jeremy DeWitte going, laughing our balls off, all of us.
