I read pretty often and like to browse whenever I see a used bookstore or a pile of books at a market, I have never come across one of fattys books. I don't think I've ever seen anyone online find one in the wild either. Is his shit printed on demand?

4 years ago I found a copy of Starship Repo at the Harvard Coop. I waited until the employee in that section got called away and I threw the copy in the trash literally under their desk. Later that year I found a copy at another Barnes & Noble and I actually brought it up to the counter and asked of I could return it without a receipt for store credit lol.
I love the idea that they wound up with more copies returned than they sold.

I’ve seen copies of Gatecrashers and Starship Repo at couple of B&Ns over the years. I doubt that there are many left in stores these days or that any more will be printed once the few remaining copies are sold/returned to the publisher.

No and I check every time. I buy a lot of used books online and the only thing I ever see from him are ex-library copies that they got rid of because it wasn't worth the shelf space. Nobody is buying his slop other than other "authors" in his circle that do it because he bought one of theirs.

I always peruse the sci-fi section at any book store. I recall seeing Gate Crashers at B&N awhile back and this was before I knew anything about Patrick. I immediately was like "oh it's a lame rip off of Douglas Adams". Skimmed it for like 10 seconds before putting it back.

Years later saw the Porsalin doc and it clicked in my head, the name Patrick Tomlinson specifically, and I was like " holy shit, that guy?".

One of the great untold Fatrick mysteries is what ever happened between Shane Moore (@TheDorkyShane) and Rick. The Abyss Walker Series is Shane's and he allowed Rick to write two books for that series.

Shane has deleted all tweets mentioning Patrick (except the one below) so there was some kind fall out.

Rick also seemingly stole his "stealthygeek" persona from Shane who's a Rogan phenotype manlet who was a cop for 12 years, posts gym selfies and has more books published than Patrick. Could be a good NPS guest.
