Sam should give his former mentors the same treatment he gave Scorch. It would be hilarious if he started using HIS SHOW to clown on 2025 era Opie, Anthony and Jimmy.

I still wouldn't listen or subscribe to Sirius, but I'd enjoy hearing the clips and watching Opie, Anthony and Jimmy's impotent responses to the attacks and motherfuckings on the air.

You know what to do, Sam--go back to your roots.

Sam did 4 things. Pop culture, staff fights, jocktober, and wrestling talk.

Do people interested in pop culture want to hear it from a squeaky voiced 40 something? It's the exact shit he used to mock. He's the main guy and he's not Stern and OnA. The culture has changed, do people really want to hear Sam Roberts abuse his staff? Jocktober is out since the only thing keeping Sam's career's head on its shoulders is politics. I guess wrestling it is, the big winner here is WWE

There is a classic O&A clip, can't remember which one it is but Opie says something along the lines of one day Sam will take over everything and he'll have his own show, it seems that the Opester was correct.

I haven't listened to that much Jim & Sam but when I have I've always thought that it was an attempt to be similar to what O&A was but obviously Sam can't match any of the original trio for talent and Norton has never seemed to really care that much.

What will Sam do? Probably the same thing that he has been doing. One of the staffers will probably move into a second mic spot and they'll talk about life, crazy viral internet stories/videos, their lives, pop culture, wrestling and whatever else is going on along with the occasional staff fight. They'll bring on the comedians that J&S was getting, maybe the occasional C or D-List celebrity and they'll do this weird poor mans version of Opie & Anthony with whatever remains of that great show that is still under a Sirius contract.

It'll probably stick around forever because it'll be cheap to produce and retain some kind of audience.

I actually recently listened to the 'Jim asks out a waitress' saga and it was fucking bizarre to hear the former intern take the Ron role mocking Jim and treating him like Fez even though it's what Jim ultimately became
That was a long time ago. It's definitely been Sam's show for awhile. Jim has just been the doddering old fool that makes comments and tries to be circa 1995 edgy.
