4 was definitely the best. I've played through it at least six or seven times. Lost and Damned was okay and Gay Tonysucked. 5 wasn't good and I didn't touch online. San Andreas didn't age well but it was alright and I can see how it was mind-blowing at the time.

Better story, it was ahead of it's time. If IV had come out when 5 did with the same functionality it's hard to argue it'd be worse

V has an awfuuul story. Real garbage. It’s like they looked at the dogshit story they wrote for Max Payne 3 and were like wow that is literal shakespeare let’s really dial it down by 40 notches to appeal to our primary audience of 12 year old spics.

IV is the best and has interesting car physics. V made them babbies first arcade racer and nothing has any torque just embarrassing.

IV had some interesting online gameplay modes like one where one player is the boss and his team needs to escort him safely across town to a getaway vehicle and the other team has to kill him before he gets there. Unfortunately the lobby system was terrible and required every single player manually select ready before it would start. In V they of course threw out anything interesting and made it all garbage microtransactions and deathmatches with even worse network code. Of course the aforementioned 12 yo spics are pumping money into shark cards to this day.

Apparently GTA IV servers are still active and people still play it on xbox 360. I'll have to see for myself, that'd be fucking crazy. Like going back in time.

My biggest problem with V was the characters. They're all incredibly annoying and unlikeable. I get that's maybe the point but I don't give a fuck about some 50 year old faggot Tony Soprano clone who doesn't like his family or some nigger who has aspirations of being a high level gangster. Frankin’s (the n) story arc (where’s my arc paulie?) is that he is given a mansion and a new car and motorbike and dog without having to do any work for them. That’s literally his entire storyline. Basically every blacks dream.
