I remember when I was a kid I watched one of the local hoodlums do what I assume was an insurance job for someone. No it just said assault of a police officer.
I didn't mean to elbow him in the face. I was just trying to squirm around and accidentally hit him, genuinely I didn't do it on purpose and actually immediately apologized and stopped kicking up a fuss.
But it was too late. He was bleeding and it made me look really bad.
This was after a Bruins game many years back and I wasn't the only one arrested.

In the end the only charge was disorderly conduct. The officer was forgiving of me probably because he knew it was an accident.
