Ordering pizzas is one thing, but registering Patrick as an insurance agent? People might actually start thinking that Patrick doesn't actually wrote novels for a living. It's naaaht funny and whoever did this should wait quietly for the knock. Quietly is the key.

What would you do for a Klondike bar?

A couple of months back @RobertMewler pointed out that he was using an old Florida address as a mailing address, and wondered if that might be enough to get him fired.

Looks like Fat Pat has read her comment and fixed it; which is a shame.

As background, Fat Pat claims he needs his insurance ticket to get whatever the insurance equivalent of royalties is; other people have pointed out that he's only licenced to sell shit-tier policies that last a few years at most, and as someone who's been a "professional writer" for years he'd be out of royalties... unless he's still selling policies.

His Continuing Professional Education credits have been logged for this year; suggesting that he's definitely studied a bit this year to keep his license. I have no reason to think that he's loying about that, and believe the board will find no gaps in his knowledge if they audit him for some reason. He's read the entire Affordable Care Act, child; and is ready to take a quiz on it at a moment's notice.

This probably warrants further investigation, he has a bunch of unhealthy poors on his twitter, does he get commission for 'bringing them in'? When they sign? What happens if they signup but then cancel?
Obviously he could be back to selling unneeded supplemental policies to vulnerable people... I don't know how this system works, but it needs looking into since Rick always want to do things in his own 'smarter' way.

We need answers! his thing about 'commission' from previous policies doesn't sound correct & he could be robbing old ladies.

I don't think he's out tracking down sales; that level of effort isn't Pat's style. Plus, I think he'd like a cut-out between him and the job, so he can larp as an author.

In the "home gym" attic photos you can see there's an old PC set up with two screens in front of the weight bench. My theory is that he's got a headset plugged into it, and he's able to log in remotely to his employer. They give him a list of leads to call and a VOIP number to dial out of, and he spends his free time phoning up and ruining old folk's evenings. That dual screen would work well for sales - screen 1 for logging the details of the policy, and screen 2 for the old duffer's name, hobbies, kids etc. to refer back to when building rapport.

It's an odd thing to have set up otherwise, given that he and Nikki both seem to do their other jobs using laptops.

another issue with this excuse is that Pig got NEW licenses as opposed to just keeping his old ones active. If you check his Montana or North Carolina licenses he only got those after covid, despite claiming he hasn't sold a policy in 10 years.

in NC he's "First Active" in 2020 but not Effective until 2022, whatever that means

the type of policies he can peddle to NC since covid

I didn't get to your insurance theories bc I got lost (Dan...) looking at his gym. Seems like this is entirely for Nikki and her gf.

What 6 ft beast needs a step stool to get up on a captains chair that's like 5 feet off the ground. The punching bag is the type that would break apart if a 10 year old boy punched it for 5 minutes. And the weights on that bench are racked in a way where you have to remove everything else to get to the heavy plates. We know Pat would never put in that type of effort and he benches 225 like it's nothing.
