It just amazes me how much and how long he has obsessed over politics, and how it has done absolutely nothing to benefit his own life, nor has it done anything to further any of the causes that he believes in. He sounds like an absolute lunatic, and is not someone that one would want representing their political beliefs.

Back in 2001 I was driving cross country and decided to stop for the night in Xenia OH, because the movie "Gummo." I ended up meeting some kids at the gas station and arranging to buy some weed from them. The stories I heard hanging out with those kids . . . they all lived in TV world and they all thought they could get famous. They thought I was famous because I was a guy passing through. The midwestern mindset is fucking bizarre.

The civil war was not the first modern war because it did not involve mass killings on a scale never seen before. Also, it was a war in one country far far away from the rest of the world. World war 1 was a world war, therefore much more important to everybody outside the United States. I know it's hard for him to hear but not too many people outside the US give two fucks about the USA
