Absolutely. Love them too.You not heard Suede?
I was an Oasis fan in the mid to late 90s but recently started watching live Verve on YouTube. I hated Bitter Sweet Symphony so I hated Verve during that time but looking back now The Verve is much better live and way more talented than Oasis. They are barely comparable when it come to live performing. I still like classic Oasis but The Verve is on a different level.
The Verve and Blur are easily the two best bands of that whole Britpop scene, in my opinion.
So much talk about Britpop and not one mention of Pulp? For shame. You not heard Suede?

The existence of discourse implies the existence of cassettecourse, recordcourse, and 8trackcourcse.I thought we were about to have a discourse over music theory, my mistake.
The best to you and your mom's box, I suppose.

How do you guys not like AC/DC though?!? They have a song about having big balls (but they really mean ballrooms!) Fucking yuck.
And RHCP had some decent stuff in the earlier albums, but shut the fuck up about California already you fags
I always hated Linkin Park, couple days ago I heard their first single “one step closer” for the first time in years and I can’t believe that awful whiny little punk screaming to sound tough somehow was a hit. I feel like if they came out at any different time they would have flopped, they got lucky. I saw them open for Metallica in 2003 and my god were they awful.Anyone that likes Linkin Park & their watered down Disney tier rebellion has been the same faggot everytime: Milquetoast forgettable white dork, anime enthusiast (pedophile), gamer, snarky Pat-like attitude, & genuinely believes Linkin Park is DEEP.
Nice worshiping a band that's a copy of a copy of a copy of shit.

I'm all in with da primus. their absolutely braindead lyrics and singing, and how it's contrasted with some of the most complex instrumentation, does summat for me; like the musical equivalent of the smartest person in the room pretending they're the dumbest ()
as for overrated bands, I already ranted about them in a previous thread -- nirvana. mediocre, overrated, and overplayed
They have to be the worst band to play live. Tone deaf singer who stays in 1 key on every song. And the fella that raps is an ass tooSHUT UP WHEN I'M TALKING TO YOU!
yeah? Then what?
That might be the most cringe part of any song in history. It’s like a bratty teenager yelling at their mom.SHUT UP WHEN I'M TALKING TO YOU!

I remember being into them growing up and I would turn down that song when playing it on my shitty stereo because I was embarrassed. That might be the most cringe part of any song in history. It’s like a bratty teenager yelling at their mom.
Did anyone mention Kid Rock? I liked when he had the dwarf, but that was more a circus sideshow curiosity on my part. Drop kick that little motherfucker
Faggot.Genesis
Faggot.The Rolling Stones
Faggot.Frank Zappa. Exhausting.
Did you actually work with Genesis?Apologies for the delay.
This is the correct answer. Every Genesis album up until Wind and Wuthering is perfect. Nursery Cryme, England, Foxtrot, the Lamb. Trick of the Tail and Wind and Wuthering are good but they’re clear signs the band was going in a more pop direction than their prog rock roots. And sadly thats what the mainstream wants rather than 10 minute ye oldy English songs, despite them being better in every facet. To me, their best overall albums were during the Progressive Rock period up to Wind and Wuthering, with great songs littered throughout the pop output. I find it a shame that Lamb and Selling England couldn't have been their true breakout period, but those were Peter Gabriel's tree, and that didn't really come until Phil took the stick.
I like Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, pretty good albumDid you actually work with Genesis?

They should have never continued calling it Genesis after Gabriel left. It became a completely different band and no one even fucking knows Peter Gabriel was in Genesis.
You can say brotherman, Mike Patton had it right when he clowned Kiedis.Red Hot Chili Peppers though... I've made my opinion known about Kiedis, so I won't repeat it here. But musically, everything post "BloodSugarSexMagick" is fucking terrible, especially "Californication". And this is with the caveat that "B.S.S.M." is no "Rubber Soul" itself, but it far exceeds anything they've put out in two decades.
