On the plane now I’m good. If you see news of somebody getting kicked off you’ll know why.

Can you drink on military planes? I imagine getting shitfaced on 33hr flight to Kabul with your bros must be fun as shit
That Louis CK bit wasn’t exaggerating. To travel to a new duty station everyone just takes a regular airline like American with everyone else. Even if its to a warzone.

And even if there was a cool military plane that took everyone, it would be terrible and we wouldnt be allowed to do anything. It aint the military of yesteryear.

Are your guns/rambo equipment flown commercial to the duty station also?
this doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense when going to a war zone….flying your warriors commercial, wide open for everyone to see and target. Am I missing something?

Suppose Im getting sent to Afghanistan and its 2009. What would probably happen is, I’d take a Delta flight to Kabul or whatever the closest safe civilian airport is. From there, whatever plane or vehicle takes me to the combat zone would have us all in full gear and there would be no drinking allowed at all.
