I remember there was a video of their 4'9 bassist "fighting a skinhead" at one of their shows. What really happens is they have a bunch of the crowd onstage with them, the little faggot sees some like 16 year old kid with a shaved head and walks over across the entire stage and sucker punches him. It gets broken up and buddy gets on the mic and says "fackin nazis aren't fackin welcome at a fackin Dropkick Murphys show kid."
I think his reasoning was that the kid was zieg heiling, but I think he was just rocking out and probably didn't even realize he did it. They were playing a cover of TNT and everyone was pumping their fists to the riff so he could've mistaken like 20 other people for doing the same thing.

True story. I grew up outside of boston. I wore a Dropkick shirt to school when i was...11/12/13(i think). The school nurse (Ken Keseys aunt) noticed my shirt and invited me over to meet the whole band. This wouldve been like 2001/2/3/4? I cant remember. It was when Al Barr was still w them. My timeline may be totally fucked. Idk. But i was fucking YOUNG. I met the whole band one day after school. They signed all my shit. Shirts, cds, etc. My dad dropped my brother and I off and we drank beer, smoked cigarettes, and blasted irish rock music together at like 4pm. They literally gave us, CLEARLY young underaged teens, cigarettes, beers and shots and "partied" with us in the early afternoon. It was cool as fuck at the time. But looking back, im like "what the fuck. We were fucking tiny underaged faggots. Why would they do that!?!?"
