Oh yeah. I stuck it out way too long and still didn't make it to the last season. Honestly, once they killed off the Chief with the gay son and alzheimers wife it started taking a shit. That was apparently all Denis Leary's ego too. He had some minor problem with him so he got him written off the show.

The funniest part of that show to me to me was what a homo Denis Leary dressed like. My dad was a firefighter and they tend to not be long haired fags who wear turtlenecks, tight red leather jackets and blue tinted glasses. It was made weirder by the fact that most of the others (Sean, Kenny, Jerry) actually were like bang-on the way firemen look and act but they never busted his balls for dressing like a fruit.

First 3 seasons were pretty fawkin good, but it went downhill and kept repeating the same fucking story beats after that. I remember the 6th season in particular being fucking terrible.

LOL the chief and the gay son, man that was some hacky, embarrassing shit. When the son had his gay lover over, and they were fucking, and he was crying out "daddy!"...LOL. The scene where his ex (?) wife drugged and raped him was pretty gay too.

I think because he's insecure about being skinny, so he's always dressed in fifteen layers like a middle school boy to look bigger.
