Death of the 2010s Hipster, Appreciation Thread

I was just thinking recently how the 2010s hipster is all but extinct. Remember those fags? They sported civil war facial hair, dressed ridiculously, smoked out of pipes pretentiously?
If they tried behaving that way now, they would be rightfully laughed at. These same fags were the ones protesting all the time, “Black Trans Lives Matter” type bullshit.
We arent being subjected to a steady stream of faggotry anymore like the days of yesteryear, and I think a large part is that hipster faggots went back into hiding because its no longer cool and marketable to be that way.

I feel like this calls for an appreciation thread.

We’re doing open phones.

They were awful but it was a genuine attempt at a sub culture on some level. The appreciation for local and organic stuff. The prioritization of good food and healthful living over sheckles, etc. It obviously turned fake and gay because we're a Jew'd country so everything is fake and gay. But I give them an "A" for effort. It had little kernels of wholesome truth to it.

They are at least partially responsible for the explosion of farmers markets for example.

i'll take 10 moustachiod hipsters over 1 smelly arab any day. they will serve you free very expensive alcohol and foodstuffs if you just smile and nod at their stupid opinions. they have great taste in some things but are lacking in other ways, and desperately want to translate that into manliness somehow. ref. Gavin McInnes self proclaimed inventor of hipsterdom and huge fagola.

this makes me all nostalgic for having lived alongside but never looking like these faggots: http://www.dobi.nu/yourscenesucks/

Nothing about it was genuine whatsoever. They were pompous and did everything just to be able to act holier than thou.
Irredeemable cunts.

'hipster' became such a catch all term that was it beginning to be applied to anyone who presented themselves differently or had offbeat interests. in that sense, i don't think it's dead at all. if anything it opened the door to employers turning a blind eye to facial hair, tattoos, whatever. you don't see how society is so centered around 'expressing yourself' like a faggot and it's more accepted than it ever has been?

i agree with @midwit though. some good things arguably came out of it. aside from farmers markets, we can probably attribute the explosion of craft breweries to it and people making their own shit in general while emphasizing buying locally.
