He saw Pat posting as an opportunity to get efamous from the beginning, after his football podcast got no traction, and never even listened to opie and anthony. That's why he didnt learn from their (mostly Nana's) mistakes.

If I were Dan my main concern would be figuring out whether 'feeling sorry' or 'pissed off at' is the right reaction to each detraction. Some of the haters he should genuinely feel sorry for them and just leave the hate alone....but there also real evil motherfuckers who just want his shit to burn.

Finally, the smallest group: people with no ill-will but have a valid critique. You could usually tell.
