It sounds like a video card issue. He could remove card and the computer would still work fine. It’d be simple compared to having to replace the motherboard. But his PC is an all-in-one from a decade ago. I thought those were like Macs and you couldn’t swap out parts. He’s kind of screwed then.

I'm watching it right now. Youtube recommends me every new Bower bitchfest.

He's been sore the past three days due to carrying stuff to the dumpster. I misunderstood him last time. He's been using an all-in-one because his other computer, that he built, was throwing up errors. If he really built it ten years ago, he's using a pirated copy of Windows.

He also wants to move out of California because he can't afford it. His expenses are $1500 a month vs $1200 a month income! But he doesn't consider that he would have to get a real job in another state. He is on public assistance, which is not going to be anywhere near as generous in the rest of the country.
