Constantly needing to assert our presence on a message board dedicated at least initially to a dead radio show that consisted of awful manufactured personalities. Because this is our actual lives.
Insistent need for validation. Owen, what do you think of this or that poster? Let’s take it to the polls! It’s a weak move that I constantly criticize while doing the exact same thing at the same time. While obviously abiding by the results.
Inability to take criticism without resorting to personal attacks or angry denials. It’s a learned skill to be honest. Mostly from people who have gravel sidewalks. It’s a tough one.
Little to no self awareness. Basically blaming others for the precise things I’ve mentioned. Incessantly calling for other people to ‘behave!’ while acting nearly as bad.
Addictive personalities. One being a weird porn aficionado. Mine is well, you know. It’s not soda pop. It’s not.
