We had a Jack Russell Terrier that would get angry if you gave him the middle finger. After that I'm convinced animals know when you're talking shit about them.

He was the coolest dog I've owned. Too smart for his own good and never stopped wanting to do shit. I would toss a ball from the 2nd floor window to the driveway and he'd run down all the stairs and being the ball back multiple times without getting bored of it. He'd shove the ball in my hand or rest it on my foot if I was standing up so if I moved my leg it would make the ball roll.
His non-stop energy is what eventually got him killed as he ran across the street to chase a cat and got hit by a car.
