Can someone catch me up on the 'fly in the mud' thing?
He posted in some hybrid model making/aviation forum back in 2009 before some redditors hacked his account.

ok but what does that even mean?
I posted it to an aviation focused forum and asked if anyone had ever heard that terminology before and got about a dozen answers from ex-military pilots, passenger (American Airlines, etc) pilots, and ALL of them said theyd had never heard that term used before and some of them had like 25 years pilot experience.

Presumably "fly in the mud" = flying at a low altitude. How they "fly in the mud" and also over his house is a mystery only Patrick understands.

I'm sorry you're stupid. I can't help you.
The only time military aviators say mud to my knowledge is the term "mudspike" where a spike is a hostile radar and mudspike means it's a stationary ground radar.

You go "feet wet" when you fly over water from land, but I've never heard the opposite.

Long story short pat is a fool.
