Also every boss battle is basically trying to steal all three items before killing him, and steal fails so often. It would be interesting to play the game without spending any gil and seeing how much you can max out your abilities with just the shit you find.
I know there are people that can beat it without leveling up. Sounds like a nightmare but possible since bosses give zero XP.

Mass Effect 2 (could easily swap this out for the first one)
If Mass Effect 3 ended well I would agree. But going back and trying to play the entire trilogy is just pointless now and arduous. Knowing what the endings are, going back and replaying the series just doesn't seem rewarding. I can go back and replay something like FFX or Dragon Age Origin knowing the endings. But the Mass Effect series has such a monumentally horrible ending that is destroys the series for me.

Apparently you get a secret weapon if you get somewhere on disc four in under twelve hours. At least you're not wasting your real life time as much this way.

In 8 I could get to the fourth disc with barely leveling up, but the card game is time consuming.

I think they recommend you just run from every fight in VII to max out your stats later in the game or something. I remember it being pretty busted.

Fallout New Vegas #1. Also even though it’s a basic bitch answer, FFVII. I remember being fully enthralled watching my older brother playing it when it first came out when I was young. Loved it ever since. Chronotrigger is up there too for me, I didn’t play it until I was in high school but I thought it was as good as any RPG I’ve ever played

In both 7 and 8 money becomes meaningless; in 7 you sell shitty materia that you've mastered and make a fortune, and in 8 everything you need is affordable. 9, 10 and 12 there was shit that was hard to buy iirc

Anyone else ever play any MUDs? My friends and I played one called Avatar a lot back in Jr. High. Could play it at school because Telnet was never blocked. I still hop on every once in a while.

Here's my list:
-Planescape: Torment
-Fallout: New Vegas
-Witcher 3
-Baldur's Gate 2
-Disco Elysium
-Knights of the Old Republic 2
You should play Divinity: Original Sin and its sequel. I wish I had 200 hours spare to sink into an RPG, maybe when I retire.

I ran one of the forks when they went to MUSE. I just checked and I guess it still exists.

Terranigma, Soul Blazer, and Illusion of Gaia were PFG. They're not turn based though, more action RPG
