As many have pointed out I'm not so sure that there is major money to be made for Opie & Anthony reuniting. Maybe a couple hundred grand a year if they were lucky? I'm sure Opie at least is making more around that in equity on his two properties annually and on prior investments that he has talked about and is clearly living off.
Even if they just got together for the money people would know it and it wouldn't be enjoyable. We all know Anthony thinks Opie is a booger eating autistic loser who has no talent and we all know Opie thinks Anthony is a homosexual racist that used to be talented but now is not. Nobody wants to hear them fake it.
Also I'm sure I'm not the only one but part of what I loved about O&A were the supporting characters. Even if Opie & Anthony did reunite it wouldn't really be the same without Jimmy, Sam, Erock, Danny, Kenny, Roland etc. Also, none of the big name comics from back in the day would be back for a 2025 Opie & Anthony show nor would the big name celebrities.
Personally I think Anthony & Jim with someone motivated to do all the heavy lifting is probably the answer. It fulfils the nostalgia of what the O&A fans want but also they could get creative with it and create something different and fresh because there isn't a near 20 year history of them to be compared to. Perhaps Sam Roberts once he's off contract?
