The Romans had slaves, so did the Greeks and everyone else. There's more than enough evidence to suggest that slavery is as old a practice as civilization itself and where is it that we're all told civilization started?

Our king recently stopped short of apologizing for slavery and as much as I bash them the Catholic church should have too. The UK were the 1st to abolish slavery and then lost a good portion of it's naval force (the biggest in the world at the time) when they went to Africa to try and stop the problem at it's source. The biggest military force on earth couldn't stop Africans enslaving Africans and selling them to every nation on earth besides us and Denmark (who banned imports before that but not slavery outright)

If I said all this out loud I'd be a pariah but it's more or less true.

No. The first year it starts, they would all stay home bleeding the system getting high all day while eating door dash. I say we give it to them but as mentioned before they cannot commit any crime, also they lose their right to vote and they have to hold down a job. If they cannot find a job in a reasonable amount of time, one will be provided for them doing public service such as washing graffiti, picking up trash etc. If they fail to meet these conditions they get shipped back to Africa.
