Anyone watched the tv show Life on Mars? The premise piqued my interest. Is it worth watching?

Edit. Talking about the original one.

HeyItsVos

Yeah, the original is great. Saw it years ago on BBC America back when they actually had a diverse lineup.

Fucking annoying that it got cut short because the cunt who played Sam “didn’t like to be tied down in one project too long”.
Imagine you’re an actor, get a role that’ll get you a bit of fame, its popular and sure to last a good length of time giving you job stability and all that goes down the pan because one pretentious northern twat doesn’t like working in one place too long

They are talking about returning with John Simm now. I didn't mind ashes to ashes the 80s version anyway. Unlike most high concept stuff they even made a good ending.

It's great, as is the follow-up Ashes to Ashes.
Second season of ashes to ashes sucked, apart from that.

They bring it back with John Simm, not sure if they’d want to. Gene Hunt returns to the 1970’s to go after the BBc for noncery

John Simms character gets cancelled for having early 2000s attitudes by a millennial BLM police diversity officer
