Anyone play GTA online?

I know the game has been out for ten fawkin years but I've never played the online component. I see a lot of videos on the YouTube of people recording while they play it. I guess everyone has a microphone and they talk now (I'm old enough to remembah when you had to type to chat to other players).

From what I gather, it looks kind of fun, but hearing the people talk would lead me to believe that the game is played primarily by black folks (as well as white kids who talk similarly). If I wanted to hear that I'd turn on BET.

I bought the game when it came out. After I'd completed the story and done the insider trading missions and a few other extras, I put it away and haven't really played it since.

I played a bit when it first came out. Never did make the leap from the xbox 360 to the xbox one. Its probably a nightmare for low level accounts getting started so late.

I remember hearing "out of pocket" in the 90s in an urban context. You know, like when a pimp says one of his hoes is "out of pocket". Since most zoomers talk like they're from the hood, they probably stole that one too. It's really remarkable how that generation adopted this... vernacular, if that's the right word.
