I thought that was the worst joke in his set because it didn’t fit the room of mutants at all (which doesn’t exude ‘whiteness’ in any way like an Opie lookalike contest or whatever would) and he’d also used that line before in some other context so that made it doubly worse. I think the crowd was expecting a ‘great’ opening joke which is why it even got a titter.
