What you have to understand about Anthony is that, like most MAGA “conservatives”, they utterly lack any sort of principles. They hate transgender people, except for “the good ones”. And those good ones happen to be people like Caitlyn Jenner, a literal murderer, because she says Trump is great.

They’ll move the goalposts on their own beliefs. Before it was that all transgender people are bad and eventually it becomes “I have no problem with those transgender people - But leave the kids alone!”

This can be extended to a thousand other ideas. “I have no problem with the immigrants - But come here legally!” “Black lives DO matter - But don’t riot!”. It’s just devoid of any values. It’s not conservatism. If you constantly have to make exceptions for your own beliefs then you don’t actually have any concrete beliefs.
