My take is it’s going to be Biden, and thats divorced from any opinion on wanting him to be president. Its in the statistics and context. First we have to go back to 2016 and how Trump won:
Trump won through flipping the rust belt because Hilary sucked.
Wisconsin voted for a Democrat for 30 years before 2016. So did Michigan and Pennsylvania. The one exception was 2016. If Hilary managed to win these states instead she would have the presidency with 276 electoral votes. It should also be mentioned Trump only won these 3 states by less than a percentage point.
Now here is the 2020 electoral map. The true “strangeness” of it is not Biden flipping the rust belt back but Arizona and Georgia flipping. Georgia hasn’t gone blue in 30 years and Arizona in 15.
Anyway i’m trying to keep this brief. I think Biden is gonna win again, maybe lose Georgia and Arizona, but still win the presidency.
