@SpaceEdge Do you know if it was a court summons, or actually a subpoena? It should be the latter given the circumstances I think but am not a legalfag; summons should be for active lawsuits, not judgement debt collection.

There's no independent evidence here. Speaking hypothetically are if tom Apostle is trustworthy. It would be a subpeona. A debtors exam is essentially a sunpeona. A lawsuit is a summons. Or a traffic ticket. Because the outcome is yet to be determined.
If you don't show then you get a default judgement. Don't show to a traffic ticket and you have to pay. Don't show to a civil suit...and you have to pay.
There's nothing to rule on here. Rick lost. So if he doesn't show he...still owes.
So again If there were an exam It would be required he be there. Assuming quasis lawyers has a court commissioner there its possible if Rick doesn't show he can have a warrant issued.
